Dr. Jeff Danner

With the enthusiasm of a recent graduate, and the experience of a seasoned professional, Dr. Jeff Danner combines exceptional clinical and chairside skills to provide each patient with individualized care in a warm and welcoming environment.

A native of Canton, Dr. Danner completed his undergraduate degree at Mt. Union College, where his concentration of study was in biology, chemistry and psychology. He then attended Cleveland’s Case Western Reserve University’s College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1986. After practicing in Arizona for one year, he returned home and established the practice that is now known as Danner Dental.

"It’s truly hard to believe that I’ve been fortunate enough to have been practicing dentistry for 20 years already! There have been so many wonderful advances in that short time and I’m thrilled to be able to offer them to patients right here in North Canton,” he said.

With an unending quest for knowledge, he’s attained membership in many prestigious organizations and gained insight from leading dentists around the world who are heavily involved in research and development of techniques involving all aspects of patient care, including cosmetic dentistry, management of facial and TMJ pain, and the application of blue-tooth CAD/CAM technologies in the dental office.

Numerous testimonials from patients through the years, along with the opportunity to treat generations of families, and continuous referrals from existing patients demonstrate that the team approach to dentistry and the incorporation of world class techniques are meeting the needs of today’s dental patients.

Even with the tremendous offerings to patients, Dr. Danner keeps things in perspective: “We doctors love to talk about techniques and new equipment, but actually, it’s how we treat our patients and the highly professional level of care they receive that’s really important,” he said. “When I go home at the end of the day knowing a patient is no longer in pain, or another is smiling for the first time in years, it’s truly a satisfying feeling knowing that my team and I have made a difference.”

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Danner enjoys spending time traveling with his family, and meeting the challenges of fatherhood. He and his wife Lee Ann have been married 18 years and have two children who each have diverse interests.

Their son Drake, 10, is a fourth grader at Canton Country Day School (CCDS), where he is a member of the school’s chess team. He participates in lacrosse, swimming, tennis and golf during the summer months, and has recently developed an interest in fly fishing and other outdoor activities. An avid reader, he devours books and is considering paleontology as a possible career when he grows up. Above all, he values his close friendships.

At six years old, Kenlee makes every attempt to keep up with her brother, and also enjoys ballet, ice skating, karate and all kinds of art. A kindergartner at CCDS, she is also a member of the school’s chess team, and she loves drama and singing. During the summer, she is a competitive swimmer with ribbons to prove it!
